The handle core is meticulously crafted from hard wood and is wrapped with genuine white samegawa ray skin, tightly bound with black silk cord for a comfortable grip. The tsuba (guard) boasts a finely finished alloy design. The saya (scabbard) is constructed from hard wood with a high-gloss green finish and a bull horn koiguchi.
