This Tanto has been meticulously crafted from 1095 High Carbon steel in a Maru style, adhering to Japanese traditions. The blade features an authentic hamon, created using a clay covering that extends up to the tip. It boasts a full tang construction for durability. The Tsuba starts with a one-piece brass Habaki, while two brass Seppas securely hold the blade in place. The Tsuba itself showcases a striking dragon design, skillfully made with brass.
The tsuka is impeccably wrapped with brown synthetic ito over genuine black samegawa ray skin, ensuring a secure and comfortable grip. The Saya is constructed from sturdy hardwood with a sleek black matte finish. Sage-O is elegantly tied around the bright copper Kurigaga (knob) of the scabbard. The Koiguchi has been hardened for added durability. This Tanto also features a chu kissaki (medium point) and medium sori (curvature), providing excellent balance.
