This wakizashi features a high carbon steel blade that is heat-treated and oil quenched for exceptional strength and sharpness. The black coloration on the blade is not only visually striking but also serves as a protective coating to prevent rusting, ensuring long-lasting beauty and functionality.

The blade boasts long Hi (grooves) on each side, reducing weight and providing audible feedback when swung, enhancing its balance and performance. The blackened iron tsuba (guard) complements the blade’s aesthetics and adds durability to the design.

The tsuka (handle) is made from wood and wrapped in black genuine samegawa ray skin, providing a comfortable grip. The alloy fuchi (sleeve) and kashira (buttcap) feature intricate details, while the small black dragon menuki adds a touch of elegance. The tsuka is securely fastened with two bamboo mekugi pins, ensuring stability.
