The KATANA’s blade, constructed from hand-forged 9260 Spring Steel, lacks a bohi. A moderate niku graces the blade, rendering it suitable for moderately traditional targets. The blade boasts a chu kissaki at its tip. Notably, the 9260 Spring Steel Katana showcases remarkable flexibility, capable of reverting from an almost 90-degree bend. The habaki of the sword comprises a two-piece, antiqued brass construction. Brass seppas complement the ensemble. The tsuba, a solid steel guard, exudes a wave-themed motif. The tsuka features a double-pinned mekugi and alloy wave menuki. The same (ray skin) is genuinely wrapped in black ito. The ito boasts alternating crossovers in a hinerimaki style. The fumy saya, white with black accents, is crafted from sturdy hardwood, ensuring a snug fit with the blade.
