This ninja sword, forged with traditional techniques, features the unique Kiriha Zukuri blade style. The blade itself is made from 1060 high carbon steel, treated specially to achieve a rich black hue through electroplating, providing rust resistance and durability. The Bo Hi on each side of the blade ensures balance, delivering optimal performance with every swing.
Encased in a black, high-gloss finish hard wood saya, the sword is protected and ready for action or display. The small, sturdy iron tsuba (guard) is held in place by two seppas (spacers), while the habaki (blade collar) is crafted from a single piece of black brass, ensuring a seamless transition from blade to handle. The wooden tsuka (handle) is tightly wrapped in genuine black Ray skin (Samegawa) and black synthetic silk ito, providing a secure grip and an authentic feel.
